Love Robot
We've been quite busy over the past few months and haven't much time to update, so we'll be doing so in the upcoming days. Here's a few notes on recent happenings.
Preproduction with "Love Robot" is underway with producer Steve Young, preparing new tracks for their upcoming album to be recorded at Media Recording. Steve Young took time out of his busy schedule to see Love Robot rock out to a packed house at The Crazy Donkey, the Monday night after Christmas. As Steve and the band develop their sound for this new release, watch for bigger and better things from Love Robot. Love Robot is a fusion of Indie Rock, Hardcore, and Pop. Alexa’s voice compliments Jon’s sweet vocal style. A few sprinkles of keyboards bring out a popish element, but the layered heavy guitars, bass and drums give their band an edgier feel.

Rob's Tip For: Recording Vocals
It is incredibly important for a vocalist to fully prepare for a vocal session.
It is a huge waste of time for a singer to spend hours trying to perfect a part that he or she has learned that day. The best thing to do is rehearse the part with a rough mix of the of the song at home to be fully prepared, and if the day of the session comes, and the vocalist finds him or herself struggling with a certain part, the best thing to do is to lay down the idea and move on. That way the singer can take the rough home to rehearse.
Time management is very important when it comes to recording so it is essential to know when to move on to stay productive.

Katt Williams, First Sunday, HBO: The Pimp Chronicles Pt.1, while preparing on Long Island for some television appearances and a Carnegie Hall performance, spent some time at Media Recording Studios.

The Single and downloads are available to order now at www.Isawablackmaninthewhitehouse.com.
